More than 200 kg of waste cleaned up at TotalEnergies & Qatar Museums event

TotalEnergies teamed up with Qatar Museums and Doha Environmental Actions Project (DEAP), for a clean-up event at the Singing Dunes, located approximately 40km southwest of Doha.

30 volunteers collected more than 200 kg of waste during the event, which took place in the end of 2021, with all participants promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility.

"We place sustainability in all its dimensions at the center of our strategy, projects and operations and we aim to be recognized for our commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs). This was our second waste clean-up event in 2021 which is a part of our CSR actions towards preservation and protection of the environment.”  said Matthieu Bouyer, Managing Director TotalEnergies EP Qatar and Country Chair. “We already have a solid partnership with Qatar Museums through the Qatar TotalEnergies Playground currently under construction at the National Museum of Qatar. I am thrilled to see our collaboration extended to these types of sustainable initiatives.
