TotalEnergies’ OneTech Leadership Strengthens Collaborations with Qatari Research Partners

TotalEnergies recently reaffirmed its commitment to research and development in Qatar with a visit by its OneTech leadership team, including Dr. Marie-Noëlle Semeria, Senior Vice President R&D, and Wilfried Konde, Senior Vice President Finance & General Affairs, alongside other top executives of the energy Company.

This visit highlighted TotalEnergies’ strong collaboration with its Qatari partners, such as QRDI (Qatar Research, Development, and Innovation Council), QNRF (Qatar National Research Fund), QEERI (Qatar Environment & Energy Research Institute), and Qatar University.

It also underscored the collective efforts of TotalEnergies alongside its partners in various sustainability areas, such as gas, LNG, renewables, refining and chemicals, plastics, sustainable fuels, oil operations, and environmental development across Qatar.

Dr. Marie-Noëlle Semeria, R&D Director and Chief Technology Officer, expressed her delight with the visit, stating, “Qatar's robust ecosystem for research, development, and innovation is providing opportunities to pilot innovative technologies. This not only fosters long-term collaboration with local industrial and academic partners but also aligns perfectly with our shared dedication to advancing solar energy and various sustainability initiatives…”
